Released in September of 2016 the album “HIM” was released by New Orleans native Denisia. This project is based upon the prospective of love being expressed in many different forms. This 15 track collection allows us to see love through her eyes. With R&B melodies and instrumentation, this project expresses what love is in a very high-class musical art form. I personally became a fan when I came across her page on Instagram and she displays a lively impromptu morning music called “The Morning Beat.”
She also released a new single entitled “Love (Mix)” featuring Hasizzle which is a upbeat Dance/EDM styled soundtrack. You can listen to it here!
DENISIA ’s music will bring you through an eclectic collaboration of R&B, dance, pop, and inspirational sounds that crossover all genres. In 2015, DENISIA landed her first major placement on Grammy nominated artist Tamar Braxton’s “Calling All Lovers” album.
With her unbelievable vocal ability and performance skills DENISIA has been granted the opportunity to open for Llyod, Tank, Melanie Fiona, Lyfe Jennings, KendrickLamar, Rickey Smiley and more. She was named BET’s Music Pick of the Week and awarded a National Music Award for “Best New Female R&B/Pop Artist.” DENISIA continued to showcase her talents and was allowed the opportunity to open for a plethora of special events, cruises and festivals such as the Jazz & Heritage Festival and much more.
Being a native New Orleanian, DENISIA has a deep connection and appreciation for the culture of her beloved Crescent City. Aside from the food and the Mardi Gras Indians’ News Orleans is also known for “THAT BEAT,” which is a faced paced syncopated rhythm of a song’s tempo that all but forces you to dance. So when she heard this powerful song, “Hello,” by London based artist, Adele, DENISIA instinctively knew she had to turn this ballad into a “bounced out” dance hit.
After teaming up with fellow New Orleanian, Big Choo, known as the “Voice of the Beat” and DJ Blaza, one of the biggest bounce producers in New Orleans, DENISIA’s version of “Hello” has reached over 3,000,000 views and has been featured on all local media outlets as well nationally known social networks.
DENISIA is the former Brand Ambassador of Follicleans Hair products and the current Ambassador of Spicy Dark Cosmetics, Studio Liv Salon, Bobby Jack Original and Nola Tropical Winery. DENISIA uses her passion for music as a platform to inspire others by creating songs that capture her personal journey through life.
